Fred Freimark, 68, of 418 Kimber Rd., Syracuse, died Sunday, August 24. Mr. Freimark founded the Atlas Baking Co. and was internationally recognized for his culinary artistry. A native of Frankfort, Germany, Mr. Freimark studied at culinary institutions in Germany, France and Switzerland. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1947. Mr. Freimark was a member of the Temple Society of Concord, Bnai Brith and LaFayette Country Club. Surviving are his wife, Gerta (Bibring); three daughters, Jo Lee Konecky of Manlius, Linda Grossman of White Plains and Lori Banks of Philadelphia; a son, Richard of Binghamton; a sister, Henriette Maier of Binghamton, and four grandchildren. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery
