Aaron Berger
Aaron I. Berger, 81, formerly of 606 DeMong Drive, died Wednesday at a local nursing home. Mr. Berger lived in Syracuse 70 years. He retired in 1984 after more than 60 years as a wholesale cattle dealer in the Syracuse area. Mr. Berger was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun. Surviving are a son, Jerry of Poughkeepsie; a daughter, Shirlee Tucker of Manlius; a brother, Irving of Boca Raton, Fla.; two sisters,
Ida Alpert of Syracuse and Esther Beinstock of Miami, Fla.; six grandchildren and a great-grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbi Charles Sherman and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Calling hours will be 1 to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, 1909 E. Fayette St. Contributions may be made to Temple Adath Yeshurun.
