Joseph J. Rothenberg, 81, died Friday, March 31, 2006, at St. Josephs Hospital. Joe was a life resident of Syracuse. He was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, the Mens Club of the Temple, the SU Orange Pack, and a life fraternal brother of the Nottingham Prince Society. Joe was the owner of the former Arrow Food Market. Upon retiring he joined his brother Lew at the Nottingham Liquor Store. Survived by his wife Helen of over 60 years; his sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Janice, and Dr. Stephen and Marsha; and his granddaughters, Amy and her fiance Tom Fazzio, Delilah and Tiffany. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Temple Adath Yeshurun. Friends may call at the Temple, 450 Kimber Road, on Sunday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Shiva will be observed at Stephen and Marshas home through Tuesday evening. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery.
