SYRACUSE — Mrs. Fannie Elman Cooper, wife of Abe Cooper, 989 James street, industrialist of Syracuse and Watertown, died Wednesday morning in Memorial hospital, Syracuse, after a brief illness. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Temple Adath Yeshurun. Burial will be in Temple Adath Yeshurun cemetery. Surviving besides her husband, are two daughters, both of Syracuse, Lillian, wife of Harry Marley, developer of Northland Plaza, Inc. in Watertown; Helen, wife of Dr. Mark Harwood, orthopedic surgeon, formerly of Watertown and Dexter; a brother, Samuel Elman, Miami Beach, Fla., and four grandchildren. Mrs. Cooper is a life-long resident of Syracuse. She was noted for her work in local service organizations, particularly local hospital volunteer groups, and for her philanthropies. She was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, its Sisterhood and auxiliaries, the Women\\'s Auxiliary of the Jewish Home for the Aged, the Council of Jewish Women, the Corinthian club and Hadassah.
