Lee W. Rothschild, 73, of Jamesville, New York, and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, died Monday, January 19, 2004, in Florida after a short illness. He was born in Syracuse, graduated from Manlius Military Academy and the University of Buffalo, College of Pharmacy. He was a Partner in Rothschild Medical Supply Co., Rothschild\'s Home Healthcare Center, Inc., and the Rothschild Pharmacies. He was active in these businesses for over 35 years and was known for his business and investment acumen and keen wit. He was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun of Syracuse and Temple Emanuel of Palm Beach, Florida. He was a former member of the Board of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, the Onondaga County Drug Abuse Commission, and the Astronomical Society of the Palm Beaches. He was an avid golfer, skier and a longtime member of LaFayette Country Club in Syracuse and Ballen Isles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Survived by: his wife, the former Marcia Levine; two daughters, Elaine (Dr. Edward) Sall and Diane (David) Arditti; son, Dr. Mark (Lisa); two brothers, Gerald and Alan; and six grandchildren, Erica Rothschild, Dana and Stephanie Sall, Jonathan, Matthew and Julie Arditti. Contributions: Mr. Rothschild and his family were longtime benefactors and supporters of many Central New York organizations. Major support was provided to Rothschild Early Childhood Center at Temple Adath Yeshurun, Rothschild Adult Day Services at Menorah Park (formerly the Jewish Home), Rothschild Endowment in Family Medicine at Upstate Medical University, Rothschild Apothecary Museum at the Museum of Science
