Naomi Gilbert Abramson, 88, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Crouse Hospital. Naomi was a graduate of Syracuse University. She was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, past president and an active member of the Temples Sisterhood, an avid reader, bridge player and golfer at LaFayette Country Club. Mrs. Abramson was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Abramson in 2000. Survived by her sons, Kenneth (Janet) Abramson and Richard Abramson; daughter, Bonnie (Jim) Harkness; grandchildren, Melissa (Garrett) Schiller, Bryan Abramson, Brendan and Thomas Harkness; and her one week old great-granddaughter, Sloane Alexa Schiller. Services will be conducted on Thursday, May 15, 2008, 2 p.m. at the Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St. Friends may visit with the family, Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the chapel. Contributions may be made to the Leukemia
