Sandra E. Ziegler, 71, died Saturday at her home in Fayetteville. She was a life resident of Syracuse. For many years she worked with her husband, Larry, of blessed memory in their family business, Zieglers Baking Supply Co. Sandra was a graduate of Nottingham High School, and Central City Business Institute. She was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, and was competitive playing cards, and Mah Jongg. Sandra was predeceased by her husband, Larry; and her parents, Sidney and Ruth Bronstein. Her family includes her daughters, Susan (Bill) Karkowski, and Marcia (Scott Alexander) Ziegler; her grandchildren, Kyle and Tori-Beth; her brother, Steven (Lynn) Bronstein; and a large and loving extended family.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, 3175 E. Genesee Street. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Contributions in Sandras memory may be made to The Golisano Childrens Hospital, 750 E. Adams Street, Syracuse, 13210. Shiva will be observed at Sandras home Monday and Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
