Mary R. Brown, 92, a life resident of Syracuse, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at the Jewish Home of Central New York. Mary was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, a past president of the Temples Sisterhood, life member of Hadassah, belonged to the auxiliary JWV Post 131, enjoyed playing bridge at Temple Society of Concord and golf at the Pompey Country Club. Survived by her husband, Joseph Brown; son, Robert M. Brown; daughter, Eileen (David) Feingold; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Heather), Andrew, and Scott Feingold; and great-grandson, Chase Ethan Feingold. Services will be conducted on Sunday, October 26, 2008, 12:30 p.m. at the Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Foundation at Menorah Park, 4101 E. Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13224.
