Edgar W. Blumberg, 30, lifelong resident of Syracuse, and for the past four years employed in the advertising department of The Syracuse Journal-American, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 1508 E. Fayette St. His death followed an illness of two years. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o\'clock from the family home, with Rabbi Jesse Bienenfeld of Temple Adath Yeshurun, of which Mr. Blumberg was a member, officiating. Pall bearers were Emanuel Manheim, Dr. Sam Bragman, John J. Simmons, Henry Markson, William B. Aberson and Bertram R. Blume. Burial was in the Temple Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Mr. Blumberg Is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae T. Blumberg and his mother, Mrs. Rose Wolfe Blumberg. He was a member of Mount Sinai Lodge, 864, F. and A. M.; and Uneek Club. He was a graduate of Central High and also of New York University. He was affiliated with Phi Delta Pi fraternity.
