Florence Bernstein
Mrs. Florence Bernstein of 2200 Euclid Ave. died yesterday at Miami Beach, Fla. A life resident of Syracuse, she was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun and was a life member of its sisterhood, Hadassah. She was a member of Bnai Brith, Mizrachi womens organization, the auxiliary of Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital and the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a son, Dr. Bernard Bernstein of Fayetteville; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Schlamowitz and Mrs. Paula Alexander of Fayetteville; a brother, William Esterson; a sister, Mrs. Alice Schadel; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St., the Rabbi Alexander M. Goldstein and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Friends may call 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Temple Adath Yeshurun building fund.
