Last rites for Max Silverman, 57 who died Friday, will be conducted at 2 P.M. Sunday at the Birnbaum funeral home by Rabbi David H. Panitz assisted by Cantor Samuel Arluck with burial in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Surviving are two sons, Capt. Frederick N. Silverman, serving with the U.S. Army Medical Corps in Australia, and Corp. Morton J. Silverman, stationed at Harvard University; two sisters. Mrs. Lottie Root of Chicago and Mrs. Esther Weiner of Syracuse.
