Lottie Small, 71, of Gregory Pkwy., DeWitt, died Thursday, October 1. Mrs. Small lived in the Syracuse area for 50 years. She retired in 1982 from the Traffic Violations Bureau and the Records division of the Syracuse Police Dept. She was the widow of Samuel Small. Mrs. Small was a member of the Temple Adath Yeshurun, its Sisterhood, Seniors Group and chorale group. She was also a member of the Friendship Club of the Jewish Community Center, Bnai Brith, the Wives of the Fellowcraft Club, and Hadassah. She was a former member of the Civil Service Employees Assn. She was a Red Cross volunteer. Surviving are two sons, Jerry Small of Rochester and Joel Small of East Meadow; a daughter, Marcia Wolpe of DeWitt; eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Services were Sunday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery.
