Post-Standard, The (Syracuse, NY) - Monday, January 8, 2001 Lester Perelmut, 73, of 15324 Lakes Circle Drive, Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of Syracuse,died Saturday at Delray Medical Center. Born in Syracuse, he moved to Florida in 1989. He was a graduate of Central High School and Syracuse University. He was proprietor of Pearl Shoes in North Syracuse and a certified pedorthist in Florida. He was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, former president of the North Syracuse Lions Club and a former member of Lafayette Country Club. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: His wife, Regina; a daughter, Sherrie Adams of Hamilton Square, N.J.; a son, Rick of DeWitt; three sisters, Jeanne Glick of Altamonte Springs, Fla., Betty Levine of Syracuse and Trudy Spector of Manlius; six grandchildren. Services: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel. Burial, Adath Yeshurun Cemetery, Syracuse.
