Shirley Ozinsky Volinsky, 86, died Monday morning in Boynton Beach, FL. Born in Syracuse, Shirley had lived in Florida since the late 1990s. Shirley was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, and the sisterhood of the Temple. She loved playing Mah Jong, bridge, and never stopped her passion for completing The New York Times crossword puzzles.
Survived by her husband, Seymour Volinsky; her children, Bradley (Valerie) Ozinsky, and Cory (Ham) Rugeley; her grandchildren, Heather Ozinsky, Erin Ozinsky, Jeff (Liz) Flaxman, and Jarrod Flaxman; her great-grandson, Lukas; her sisters-in-law, Ros Bodow, Sylvia (Murray) Gilman; and Anita Rosenblatt; and Seymours children, Lynn (Steven) Bronstein, and Alan (Sherry) Volinsky.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family immediately prior to the service on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel, 3175 E. Genesee Street. Burial will be next to her late husband, Fred Ozinsky of blessed memory in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery.
