Libby Maloff, 90, of DeWitt, New York, passed away June 10, 2015 in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Libby was born in Mount Vernon, New York, but spent most of her life in Syracuse, New York. She attended Syracuse University and enlisted in the Coast Guard to serve her country during World War II. Her greatest joys were being married to Dr. Morton Maloff for 54 years and the pride she took in raising her four children. Libby was very active in her community and sat on multiple boards that included the Jewish Community Center, Temple Adath, and the Everson Museum. Libby and Morton took great delight in traveling all over the world and collecting antiques and interesting art. They spent many winters in Florida, where they enjoyed having family visits and playing golf. In fact Libby was very proud of becoming the Ladies 9 hole golf champion at her club in 1995. She was also an excellent piano player and was thrilled that her childhood piano remains in the community at Temple Concord.

Libby was predeceased by her husband Dr. Morton Maloff. She is survived by her daughter, Margie (Larry) Loeb; and sons, Dr. Arnie (Polly) Maloff, Stephen Maloff, and Dr. Jeff (Joanne) Maloff; and her seven grandchildren, Casi Smith, Scott Loeb, Martine Wayne, Michelle Maloff, Juliet Maloff, Sophia Maloff and Nicholas Dominaitis.
