Services for George J. Kamp, 71, of 111 LaFayette Road, who died Sunday in Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours are 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel, and after services friends may call
at the family home. Mr. Kamp was born in New York City and lived in Syracuse 36 years.\' He was a mens clothing salesman and luggage salesman with the former E.W. Edwards and Son store and Sibleys, and retired in 1980. Mr. Kamp was a member of Temple Society of Concord. He served in the Army in World War II. Surviving are his wife, Florence Kamp; two sons, Steven of Mesa, Ariz., and Dr. Ira Kamp of Ithaca; a daughter, Marci Shernoff of San Francisco, Calif.; a brother, Irving Kamp of Brooklyn; three sisters. Sally Heisler of Trenton, N.J., Anne Margolin of Troy, and Tess Shonfeld of Little Neck; and eight grandchildren.
