Libbie Goldstein Weisman, 91, a lifelong resident of Syracuse, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at the Jewish Home of Central NY. Libbie was the executive secretary for the Syracuse Jewish Federation until her retirement, a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, their Sisterhood and Hadassah. Mrs. Weisman was predeceased by her husband, Charles Weisman, and brothers, Jack and Sol Goldstein. Survived by her sister-in- law, Betty Goldstein, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted 1 p.m. today, Friday, January 18, 2008, at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St. Friends may call today from noon to 1 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery.
