Samuel Abramson, 70, of 561 Westmoreland Ave., died Saturday at his home after a long illness. He was the founder and president of Standard Office Supply Co., m W. Genesee St. A World War I veteran of the U. S. Navy, be was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun and a former member of the board of trustees. He was also a former member of the board of the Jewish Home of Central New York and of the board of directors of the Jewish Welfare Federation. He was past president of the Syracuse chapter of the Zionist Organization of America, a member of Mount Sinai Lodge, F and AM, Central City Consistory, and Tigris Shrine. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Abramson; a daughter, Mrs. Gerald B. Meyer; a brother, Moses B. Abramson; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Birnbaum Funeral Home, Rabbi Irwin I. Hyman and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Friends may call at the home of his daughter at 113 Harrington Road at their convenience. Contributions may be made to Temple Adath Yeshurun Building Fund.
