Max Potter
Max Potter of 134 Woodlawn Avenue died Sunday night at Binghamton City Hospital. He was 63 years old. He had been visiting a son in Binghamton. Mr. Potter had been ill for some time, and failed to rally after an operation. He was born In Poland, but had lived in Auburn for 45 years. A cigar maker, he operated a cigar and magazine store in North Street. He was a member of EnBenore Lodge I.O.O.F., the Knights of Pythias, and of the congregation of Bnai Israel. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Stanley Potter of Binghamton and Nathan Potter of Auburn; a sister, Mrs. Harry Goldberg of Syracuse; and a brother, Sam Potter of New York City, formerly of Auburn. Funeral services will be held at 11 oclock Tuesday morning at Birnbaum\'s Funeral Chapel, Syracuse. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery, Syracuse.
