Rites for Robert A. Small, a native of Syracuse, who died Tuesday night at Miami Beach, Fla., will take place at 2 p. m. Friday in Temple Adath Yeshurun with Rabbi Irwin I. Hyman officiating, assisted by Cantor Samuel Arluck. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun cemetery. The body will arrive in Syracuse Thursday and will be taken to the funeral parlors of the Birnbaum brothers. Small moved from Syracuse several years ago but was a frequent visitor here in recent years. While in this city he was a member of the Lafayette Country Club. He was a member of Moriah Lodge, F. and A.M. and had been employed by the Colonial Art Company of Utica for many years. Surviving are his wife Pearl Odza Small, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Goldstein of New York City and Mrs. Leah Weinstein of Cincinnati, and brother Michael Small.
