Janice Levy Rothenberg was a native of Syracuse, New York, and graduated from Syracuse University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology. Later that year, she married Larry Rothenberg and moved to the suburb of Manlius, where she enjoyed volunteering for many community organizations. She felt her greatest accomplishment in life, however, was to have touched the lives of her family with love and to have been blessed with knowing their love in return. "I think people should just stop and take more time to smell the flowers."~ a quote from Janice\'s book, Amy Beth and her Mismatched Socks, written in memory of her beloved daughter. Survived by husband, Larry; sister, Susan Snyder; brother-in-law, Steve (Marsha) Rothenberg; son-in-law, Tom Fazzio; mother-in-law, Helen Rothenberg; aunt, Muriel (Joe) Elman; nieces, Wendy (Ryan), Tiffany, Delilah; nephew, Doug; grandniece, Sarah; and and grandnephew, Seth. Private services and burial will be for the immediate family. Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Steve and Marsha Rothenberg\'s home. Contributions, at Janice\'s request, may be made to Make-a-Wish of Central New York, 5005 Campuswood Drive, E. Syracuse, NY 13057.
