April 13, 2004 Constance Miller Cramer, aged 85, died peacefully at home on April 13. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Connie was born and raised in Port Chester, NY, the youngest of the four children of Jacob and Sadie Miller. Her love of art brought her to Syracuse University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1941. At SU Connie met fellow student Henry Cramer, whom she married in 1943. The couple lived in Cleveland, Ohio, while Henry attended dental school, and while he was on active duty in the Army in the Phillipines, Connie moved home to Port Chester to live with family where she gave birth to her first child. The couple returned to Syracuse after the war where Henry began his dental practice and they raised their children. In addition to making a warm home for the family, Connie had a great love for reading, and expressed herself through a variety of creative arts and crafts, being best known for her talent in oil painting. She was a member of LaFayette Country Club, Hunter\\\'s Run Country Club, Boynton Beach, FL, Temple Society of Concord, Temple Adath Yeshurun, Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas, and the women\\\'s auxiliary of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Constance was considered by all who knew her to be an intelligent, open minded and compassionate woman, who loved life and family. She is survived by: her loving husband Henry; daughters, Judith Cramer, Phillis Cramer (Phil Cochran), Sherry Cramer, Diana Cramer and grandson Ethan Cramer-Flood; brother Jerome (Gayle) Miller; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as devoted companion to the family Tarry Nestico. Service will be Friday, 11 a.m. at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel. Calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel, 1909 E.
