Abraham J. Berman, 47, of 710 East Raynor Avenue, died early Monday at his home. He had been in ill health for several years. A veteran of the World War, he served with the light artillery of the 78th, Division and took part In the battles of Chateau Thierry, Belleau Wood, Meuse Argonrre, Argonne, Verdun, Metz and St. Michel. He was a member of Post 41, American Legion. Surviving are His wife, Mrs. Dora Berman; a daughter, Helene Irma Berman; a brother, Myron Berman, and three sisters, Mrs. Harry Fisher of Oswego, Mrs. Simon Wolfe and Miss Betty Berman. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday at the home with members of Post 41, American Legion, taking part in the rites. Rabbi Irwin L Hyman and Cantor Samuel Arluck will officiate. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery
