Mildred Liberman, 86, formerly of Syracuse, died Sunday in Plantation, FL. When in Syracuse, Mrs. Liberman was an active member of Hadassah, B\\'nai Brith and Temple Beth El. Mildred remained active in Florida, becoming the president of Mended Hearts, a support organization for survivors of heart surgeries. Mildred was predeceased by her first husband, Martin Liberman, in 1987 and by her second husband, Philip Gudinsky, in 2004. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Brenda Liberman; her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Stuart Rubin; her brother, Herbert Steinberg; her six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her stepdaughters and stepsons-in-law, Marion and Leo Kreisel, Linda and Lew Barshak, Sherry and Terry Isle, and Sonia Gudinsky; and her seven stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m Thursday at Sisskind Funeral Service. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, prior to the service, at the funeral chapel, 3175 E. Genesee Street. Burial in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery.
