The funeral of Mrs. Ruth A.I Bennett, an attorney and wife of Lawrence J. Bennett of 639 Westmoreland ave who died Wednesday night In Syracuse Memorial Hospital, will be conducted at the home of her husband parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Bennett, 406 University Ave., at 2:00 Friday afternoon. Rabbi Irwin Hyman and Cantor Samuel Arlock will officiate. Burial will take place In Temple Adath Yeshurun cemetery. Mrs. Bennett was a daughter of Mr and Mrs Bernard Lapidus of Brooklyn and was a graduate of the law school of New York University in 1930. Until her marriage in 1933, Mrs. Bennett practiced law in Brooklyn. She was a partner with her husband in the law firm of Bennett and Bennett, with law offices In the State Tower building. A director of the Womens Democratic Club, Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Council of Jewish Women and the Temple Adath Yeshurun auxiliary. Besides her husband and her parents, she leaves a brother.
