Gertrude Berger
Services for Mrs. Gertrude Berger, 74,of 606 Demong Drive, who died Tuesday in Upstate Medical Center after a short illness, will be 11 a.m. today at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbi Charles S. Sherman officiating.
Burial will be in Adath Veshurun Cemetery. Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, 1909 E. Fayette St. and after the services at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Shirlee Tucker, 7442 Silverwood Drive, Manlius. Mrs. Berger lived in Syracuse for 60 years. She was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, its sisterhood and BNai Brith womens organization. Surviving are her husband, Aaron Berger; a son, Jerry of Poughkeepsie; her daughter; four brothers, Nathan, Hyman, David and Bernard Martin; a sister, Mrs. Freida Sadinsky; and six grandchildren.
