Goldberg — Died in Syracuse, at Crouse-Irving hospital, Saturday, Aug. 22. Meyer Goldberg, founder of the firm of M. Goldberg and Sons of Syracuse, Fulton and Oswego. He had been in ill health but a short time. Born in Russia, Mr. Goldberg lived in Syracuse 44 years. He was a member of the Jewish Home for the Aged, Bnai Brith, Temple Adath Yeshurun and Temple Poiley-Tsedeck. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bessie
Goldberg; three sons, Ben and Sol of Syracuse and Fulton and Abe of Rome; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services were conducted at 3 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Birnbaum funeral rooms, with Cantors Arluck and Fox and Rabbi Jacobson officiating; interment in Temple Adath Yeshurun cemetery.
