Allan S. Cantor, 58, of 236 Marsh Drive died Tuesday at St. Josephs Hospital. Mr. Cantor was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He was owner of ECG Auto Sales at Erie Boulevard West and Geddes Street. He was a 1971 graduate of Onondaga Community College. Mr. Cantor was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, the PhiloMount Sinai Masonic Lodge and the Classic Car Collectors Club. Surviving are his wife, Rena; a son, Jeff of DeWitt; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbi Charles S. Sherman and cantors Emanuel C. Perlman and Harold Lerner officiating. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Calling hours will be noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 1909 E. Fayette St. Friends may call at their convenience through the week of shiva at the family residence. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
