Services for Herbert Gallin of 112 Sheffield Lane, Fayetteville, who died Monday at University Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. today at the Birnbaum Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, 1909 E. Fayette St. Contributions may be made to hematology research at University Hospital. Mr. Gallin was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He was a manufacturers representative for the Herb Gallin Co., air movement equipment. He was a member of Temple Society of Concord and Ashrae. Mr. Gallin was an Army veteran of World War II and participated in the Battle of the Bulge and Bastoghe. He was a member of Onondaga Post 131, Jewish War Veterans. Mr. Gallin attended Alfred University. Surviving are his wife, Jean; four daughters, Sheila of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Frank Roberts of Flint, Mich., and Stacy and Debbie Kleiman, both of Fayetteville; a son, Hillary of Fayetteville; his father, William; two brothers, Daniel of DeWitt and Dr. Leon of Bethesda, Md.; and a grandson.
