Services for Irving Schuls, 80, of DeWitt, who died Saturday at University Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Ginsburg-Maloff Funeral Home. Burial will be in Temple Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Calling hours be 1 to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, 4901 Jamesville Road, DeWitt. The family will receive visitors at 204 Windsor Drive, DeWitt, after the funeral. A native of New York City, Mr. Schuls lived in Syracuse for 47 years. He was employed as an air-conditioning inspector at Syracuse Stamping Co. for many years. Mr. Schuls was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, the Adath Yeshurun Men\'s Club, Jewish Community Center Friendship Club and the Senior Citizens Club of Temple Adath Yeshurun. He was a former grand master of the International Order of Odd Fellows, a Cub Scout leader of Pack 40 and toastmaster for Ring 56. Surviving are his wife, Tilly; a son, Philip of DeWitt; a daughter, Sondra Schwartz of Jamesville; a sister, Evelyn Ronis of Muncie; a brother, Al Schulsky of Brooklyn; and four grandchildren.
