Muriel W. Spector, 83, a life-long resident of Syracuse , died Thursday at the Jewish Home of Central New York. She graduated from Oneida High School and received a scholarship to Syracuse University School of Music, where she received her B.A. degree. Muriel could have been a concert pianist but chose to be a homemaker to her husband and children. She was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun. Survived by her husband of 61 years, Avron Spector; daughter, Anne Meadvin; son, Mark Spector; and 2 grandchildren. Graveside services and burial will be conducted on Monday, December 15, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Adath Yeshurun Cemetery.
