October 3, 2008 David Rudolph, 80, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away Friday, October 3, 2008. David was the youngest of five children born to Max H. and Anna Wolfe Rudolph. He was born May 1, 1928, in Syracuse, NY, where he lived until moving to Florida in 1982. David was a partner in the family-owned business, Rudolph Brothers Jewelry, a prominent jewelry chain in New York for many years. In 1976 he became the owner of Plaza Liquor Store in Camillus, NY, which is still owned by the family. David was an active member of the community serving as president of the Camillus Rotary Club, a longtime member of Lafayette Country Club and a congregant of Temple Adath Yeshurun. David had a lifelong passion for amateur radio and was known to many by his call letters WB2BTS. David is survived by his wife of 57 years, Roberta Slive Rudolph; two sons, Raymond Rudolph and wife, Christine of Manlius, NY, and Stephen Rudolph and wife, Kathleen of Glastonbury, CT; one daughter, Amy Cervelloni and husband. Gerald of Ellicott City, MD: four grandchildren, Elisha, Ethan and Kimberly Rudolph and Nathan Cervelloni; two sisters-in-law, Rosalind Rudolph Stephan and Maureen (Slive) Anderson; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, immediately prior to the service, at the funeral chapel, 3175 East Genesee Street, Syracuse.
