Leonard Siegler July 24, 2011 Leonard Siegler, 92, died Sunday morning at Iroquois Nursing Home. Len was a native of Syracuse. He was a veteran of WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart for his service to his country. Len had worked with his father in their produce business, A.L. Siegler Fruit and Produce Company, at the Syracuse Regional Market. After retiring, he joined the Syracuse and Oswego Bus Lines, where he worked for many years. He was a life member of Temple Adath Yeshurun. His wife, Pearl, died in May of 2008. Survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Roni and Bill Allman and Jan and Len Sadek; his sister-in-law, Gertrude Kamp; his grandchildren, Michelle and Adam Kaloz, Caren and Alexis Allman, and Adam and Joseph Sadek; and great-grandson Parker. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family tomorrow prior to the service, from 9 to 10 a.m., at the funeral home, 3175 E. Genesee Street, Syracuse. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Temple Adath Yeshurun. Sisskind Funeral Service LLC 3175 E. Genesee St. 446-4848
