Mollie Wladis, 85, of 1301 Nottingham Road died Monday at University Hospital. A native of Syracuse, Mrs. Wladis also lived in Binghamton before returning to Syracuse in 1962. She retired in 1956 as vice president
from Wladis Waste Paper Co. of Binghamton. Mrs. Wladis was a 1929 graduate of Syracuse University. Her husband, Ralph, died in 1961. Mrs. Wladis was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, its Sisterhood, the SU Alumni Association, the Corinthian Club and the auxiliary of Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital. Surviving are a brother, Dr. Marvin Alderman of Syracuse, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Calling hours will be 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 1909 E. Fayette St. Contributions may be made to the Carol Alderman Leahey Mount Sinai Hospital Fund, in care of Eric Alderman, 500 Plum St., Syracuse 13204.
