Dr. Samuel Belkowitz, 89, of 303 Ambergate Road, DeWitt, died Friday at his home. Dr. Belkowitz was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He retired in 1979 as a physician with offices in the University Building in Syracuse. He previously had an office in Fayetteville. Dr. Belkowitz was a 1924 graduate of Syracuse University and received his medical degree in 1928 from the Syracuse University School of Medicine. He interned at Hammet Hospital in Erie, Pa., and did post-graduate work in endocrinology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Belkowitz was a member and former trustee of Temple Adath Yeshurun and a member of its
Men\'s Club. He also was a member of the American Medical Association, the Onondaga County Medical
