Ethel Ben-Ami, 81, of 4101 E. Genesee St. died Monday at the Jewish Home of Central New York. Mrs. Ben-Ami was a life resident of the Syracuse. Surviving are a brother, Carl Lee of Navato, Calif.; a sister, Goldie Freedman of Syracuse; two grandsons, Andrew and Jonathan Ben-Ami, both of New York City; a granddaughter, Karen Ben-Ami of Florida; and. several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery, Rabbi Charles S. Sherman and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Foundation of the Jewish Home of Central New York. Birnbaum Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.
