Bessie Blank, 77, of Genesee Garden Apartments, Auburn, died Thursday at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Born in Syracuse she was a resident of Auburn for 43 years. Along with her late husband, Harold, she owned and operated the Auburn Mattress Co., and had retired in 1981. She is survived by a son, Michael of Auburn, a daughter, Mrs. Laura Brennan of Auburn, and a brother, Simon Posen of Jamesburg, NJ. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Birnbaum Funeral Chapel. The Rabbi Charles S. Sherman and Canter Harold Lerner will officiate. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St.
