Anne Byer Cohen, 80, of Pompano, Fla., died Tuesday in Pompano. Mrs. Cohen was born in Syracuse and lived in Buffalo before moving to Florida seven years ago. She was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, a member and past president of the Temple Sisterhood, Hadassah, and Women of Brandise University. She was a member of LaFayette Country Club. Surviving are her husband, Irving of Pompano Beach; a son, Jerome of Carmichael, Calif.; a sister, Helen Steff of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and three grandsons. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbi Charles S. Sherman and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Calling hours are 10 to 11 a.m, Friday. Contributions may be made to Temple Adath Yeshurun.
