Harry H. Cohen, 74, of 134 Remington Ave., died Thursday at St. Josephs Hospital after a short illness. He was a life resident of Syracuse and the former proprietor of Onondaga Smoke Shop on West Onondaga Street until his retirement in 1976. He was a member of Temple Beth El, Temple Adath Yeshurun and Mount Sinai-Philo Masonic Lodge. He also was member and president of the Friendship Club of the Jewish Community Center. Surviving are his wife, Anne; two sons, Stuart David of Olney, Md., and Ralph Allen
of Syracuse; two stepsons, Warren Augins of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and James S. Augins of Bethesda, Md.; two brothers, Irving of Delray Beach, Fla M and Morris of Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Frieda Koldin of Syracuse; and six grandchildren. Services will be noon Sunday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbis Charles S. Sherman and Daniel Jezer and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery. Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon Sunday at the funeral chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St. Contributions may be made to Temple Adath Yeshurun building fund.
