Leonard M. Bergere, 56 of 4910 Ledyard Dr., Manlius, died April 14 at his home. Services were held April 16 at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbi Charles S. Sherman and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. Mr. Bergere was a veteran of World War II, having served as a Navy lieutenant in the Pacific. He was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun and the El Fun Society of General Electric. He was an engineer in the heavy military department of GE. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Cohen, a son, Steven Bergere of Rochester, two daughters, Mrs. Hillary Cooper of Kogersford, Pa. and Mrs. Elyse DeLawyer, his mother, Mrs. Jennie Bergere of Miami, a sister, Mrs. Ruth Sidenstien of Brooklyn and two grandchildren
