Eli Fleischman, 58. of 427 Columbus Ave., who ended his life by hanging yesterday afternoon, was not a brother of Jacob Fleischman, Syracuse furniture dealer, as stated in the Saturday editions of The Syracuse Journal. The Sunday American takes this opportunity to make a correction. Despondency over ill health is believed to have led to his act. Mr. Fleischman had been in ill health for several years, during a large part of which time he had been under treatment in various sanatoriums. He had been treated at home since he suffered a nervous breakdown a year ago. Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 2 oclock Sunday afternoon with Rabbi Jesse Bienenfeld officiating. Burial will be in Temple Adath Yeshurun cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ida Fleischman; three daughters, Mrs. David Kapłan and the Misses Helen and Annę Fleischman. and a brother, Benjamin Fleischman of Omaha, Neb.
