Helen Cooper Harwood, 84, of Syracuse died Monday at home. She was a life resident of Syracuse and a 1939 graduate of Syracuse University. She was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun and the board of the Everson Museum of Art. She was an honorary chairperson of Enable and a longtime supporter of Syracuse Stage. Her husband, Dr. Mark R., died in 1997. Survivors: A son, John R. of Syracuse; a daughter, Wendy Van Der Bogart of Syracuse; four grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday in Temple Adath Yeshurun. Burial, Adath Yeshurun Cemetery.
